At 2031 hours, Engine 10, Tanker 17, Support 12, and other Greene County units responded to 136 Cedar Grove Road at the Food Lion for the building fire. Chief 20 arrived on scene with heavy fire and smoke showing from side Charlie. Engine 23 arrived and stretched a line into the rear door and placed a knock on the fire while Engine 22 and Engine 10 performed ventilation throughout the building. Several occupants were removed from the store via Engine 23's crew. The fire was contained to a Pepsi trailer and the loading dock area. Crews returned to service around 2214.
